Factory OEM oil block tends to break and lose oil pressure which can lead to devestating engine failure. This can also be used for external oil coolers or oil filter relocation. You can utilize your factory oil pressure sensor and additional port for aftermarket gauge or whatever you may want to put to it.

Made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. CNC Machined. Comes with:

(2) -10an ORB Fittings

(2) 1/8" NPT Oil port plugs

(2) O-rings

(1) Oil block adapter

215.00USD shipped!

Hi there. Can you fit this with the engine in place? And do you have to remove any other OEM feed pipes to fit it (water for example)?

Yes it can be fitted with the engine in the car. Just take the factory oil filter/block adapter off and replace it with this one. Pretty simple and straight forward.

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here, but what happens to the oil cooler water pipes and the oil pressure relief valve?

You would run an external oil cooler.

is there even any benefit to having the s14 oil cooler thats built into the filter housing? on the s15 nissan didnt even bother to fit it and that was on a slightly more tuned sr.......

cant see the point of the stock cooler myself - do away with it:nod:

dump the cooler and fit a proper cooler with remote filter  makes changing the filter so much easier, and its a much cleaner install than a sandwich plate type oil-cooler and much less likely to leak:nod:

That's the reason I'm asking as that's exactly what I want to do. My question is probably better rephrased as - when I take the stock filter housing off, what do i do with the cooling hoses that are there, trace them back and plug them up ? And how easy is that to do with the engine in place?

put a joiner in the water lines, it can be done while the engines in the car, can be fiddly but worth it:nod:
