Any chance of an 18x10 or 18x11?

Evilchap

I am afraid not chap. Only the sizes as above. Grid Drifts come in 18x10... I will be popping a thread up about those later, this thread has taken a fair bit of compiling :)

Hi guys , right then ,how much would it set me back for a set of rota gtr's in gunmetal with a polished lip in et30 fittment for an s14a on BC Racing coilovers,(apex gen 2's)
Is this the correct fitment for my car ? , as the car is quite low would it be best to go for 8.5x18 front and 9.5x18 rears or 9.5's all round ? .....allso could you do a deal with toyo t1r's fitted and a full set of wheel nuts and locknuts .

waiting for my credit card to run for cover !!!!!!!!!

PS; is there an sxoc discount ? :)

Evilchap
21-01-2010, 16:42

All in £1322.96

Hi mate ,that was quick ! , so judging by the tyre sizes thats 8.5x18 front and 9.5x18 rears ,is the et30 offset correct as you don't say and will they be ok with my coilovers ?.
My car is emerald green in colour ,do you think they'll look ok ,have you fitted this combo to another 200 in the same colour ?

Daz

18x9.5 ET30 wheels will hit the coilover, either get ET12's or some spacers.

You can fit a 225 wide tyre to a 9.5 wide wheel, thats what mine are fitted with.

This is ET30 with 25mm spacers all round (fronts hit the coilover if the spacer isn't fitted)

the 8.5 wheel looks a bit gash i think

Evilchap
22-01-2010, 16:14
Cheers Daz :)

It does depend on which coilovers you get, for an easy life ET30 8.5 is the way to go on the front and ET30 9.5s for the rear :)

How much for a set of Bronze GTRs 18x9.5 with ET12, including delivery to Northern Ireland?

And then a quote for tyres too; not sure which make I'd go with.. I do a lot of miles so if that helps. Think I'd want 225/35 on them all (or at least, the same as Daz, though I think he has 40..).

Edit: Could you also give me the prices for the Torque Drifts please (same sizes with/without tyres). :)

wheels are priced by size, i am out the office at the moment, if you need an answer before monday head to our website, all pricing on there for wheels...

Gtr are not available in 8" wide, you could run 9s all round though if you wanted :-)

Tyre pricing i will confirm monday :-)

rdougan

Both sets (for me) seem to be £920, so 10% discount (I think) = £828.

Just really wondering how much for tyres (and which size) and how much and how long it would take for delivery to NI. :)

Evilchap
08-02-2010, 09:18
Delivery is 2-3 days.

Tyres you'd probably want 225/40/18 and 235/40/18 which is what Daz has...

I can do Falken FK452s with the wheels for:
£77.01+ VAT each for 225/40
90.00+ VAT each for 235/40
Supplied and fitted.

Treacle
03-03-2010, 11:42
Are you likely to be able to offer the 17's in any smaller widths in the future? Ideally I'm after a set of 17x8.5j for the front and 17x9.5j et 12 for the rear in white.

Evilchap
03-03-2010, 11:55
Not really :(

We will be getting Grids in wider 17s if they'd be any good...

Which car do you have that needs narrower fronts?

Treacle
03-03-2010, 12:07
Its for an S13 with S14 hub conversion and its a track car, don't want to go too wide on the front for the handling.

Treacle
03-03-2010, 12:09
Yeah i like the grids as well, but you don't offer them in a 17 at the mo by the looks of things?

Evilchap
03-03-2010, 12:18
We offer them in narrow 17s at the moment, but no wide ones.

We do the Torque in 17x8 ET35 and 17x9 ET30 I believe if you like the look of them?

Treacle
03-03-2010, 12:20
Torques are not really my cup of tea, would prefer gtr's or grid's.

15-03-2010, 16:19
how much are you doing them for trade as my mate managed to get 18"x 9.5" et30 for £180 each which worked out at £153 before tax.

Evilchap
15-03-2010, 16:34
Trade pricing is for trade, not public... and will also vary by trader depending on volume.

redsx94!
15-03-2010, 18:33
So being by volume and you having supplied everybody. Which means you have the most volume sell them for more

Evilchap
17-03-2010, 10:32
I dont fully understand your post...

But the reality is that we're the UK dsitributor for Rota. We have a dealer network, including Driftworks, Apex, Japspeed and DB Power on this very forum. If I go round offering everybody 20% off, they'll never sell anything, and they'll have to find other wheels to sell.

We lose out on their marketing, and everybody is a loser. We set the retail prices for the UK, we cant very well choose to ignore them I am afraid. If your mate works for one of our dealers it's very possible he got a discount for his own wheels for his own car, perhaps he could see if he / his boss can order for you and perhaps pass on some discount? :)

Price for 17x9 in white please. Are the Grid's the same price? If not, can you PM me a price for them too please?

Running standard suspension at the moment so shouldn't have fitment issues and have 215/45 's. Will these go on to 9's ok?

Evilchap
28-05-2010, 15:12
215 will go on a 9, but is a good stretch.

17x9s are all the same price, regardless of design :) A set is £660 + delivery.

With those you get new nuts, spigot rings and centre caps.

As a paid up SXOC member you get 10% off that price. Delivery to UK mainland is £20.

Hello, I would like to get 18" Rota GTR's on my car (S14a) - but don't want to do any arch work! The car will be lowered.

What widths and offset would you recommend?

Do the 8" and 8.5" wheels not have that cool concaved look to them? Would 9.5" fit on a lowered car without any arch work?

Cheers!

Evilchap
06-02-2011, 11:48
I think I replied by PM, but you're correct on the concave side of things :)

You'll need 9.5 for a concave wheels, 225/40/18 front, you can go wider on the rear... but it'll depend on your ride height etc.

Give me a call tomorrow if you want to talk it through :)
