I thought it was 1170kg??? thats what it says in the original What Car road test. but then i suppose a look at the owners manual would probably say more conclusively!!

As for weights of S13, what stage-2 reduction tricks can be done, after things like removing rear seats, stereo, air con, abs etc.

Replacing certain panels with lighter carbon fibre equivalents?

Depends on how far you wanna go I guess.

Remove everything you dont need would be a good start.

The boot and bonnet weigh **** loads, so getting light-weight replacement items could save a lot of weight...
