Engine out

Gearbox on or off? I havent even looked if its possible to remove it with it on, im just sat here wondering. *almost ready* to swap the new and improved chimplump into it. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

So whats the best/easiest/quickest way to do it? im hoping to lift it out tommorow morning.

I gather from reading a message somewhere on here that the gearbox can come out with the engine, although I reckon I'd put the output shaft through the screen.

That's what I'm gonna do (try to do) the less grovelling around under the motor the better.

I'm still at the 'can't quite loosen the flywheel bolts' stage They have been soaking in WD40 for over a week now, must admit I have lost interest a bit. I'm sure it will return. My boost guage arrived from the states today.

Leave the gearbox on as its a bitch to get at the bolts,just put a bit of carpet under it as it comes up and out at an angle and could rub on the floor.
