I have just installed my Blitz FATT, all but the speed signal wire.

Where the fugging hell is the ECU in a 92 S13, or for that matter the wire I need to connect to?

Good grief how hard can it be to find a box that has a million wires going to it.

Please help me. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif

Right, the ECU is in the front passenger footwell. Remove the screw on the side, remove the screws on the plastic sill protector, and then you can lift the sill protector, and kinda turn the plastic covering the ECU box away to the side. When you uncover the ECU, it has a see through plastic cover that you can pull off to uncover the "million" wires. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif Read your booklet carefully and it'll tell you (if you read Japanese) or via pictures, and make sure you get the right ECU and then the right wire to patch into.

The booklet page is number 7, and on my car, a 1992 S13, it was BN-1, but as I said before, make sure.

Hope this helps?

Cheers Spooky,

Yeah, that'll help a lot. I have ripped the other side out, duh.

I have a 92 S13 too, the sodding foriegn manual doesn't go up to 92 for the ca18dat does it?

But I assumed it was the BN-1.

I'll get it put together tonight and go and have a play up and down the duel carriageway.

Did you ever get your 0-60 time down below 8.5 seconds?

Cheers,

Jezz.

I just don't know, but I could only manage 8.5 seconds as my best time. I didn't want to beat on the clutch, so I started off with very low revs and gunned it.

Will have to try again.

Also, bear in mind that it has to carry the extra weight of a pie loving skinhead, IYKWIM? http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

I done an 8.0sec without killing the clutch.
Suppose if I was willing to fry it I could get down to the low 7's.

Whats the fastest anyone went to 100 kph?

Woohoo it works.

1st attempt 7.5,
2nd attempt horribly wrong, missed 2nd gear 9.1
Third attempt 7.3, wayhey getting there, need to do sub 7 sec.

All of these were done pulling out of bus stops on a duel carriageway so I reckon on a straight run I could do sub 7.

Simple things for simple minds.

Glad it's working. Still can't better 8.5! Tried twice last night and first time thought I'd seen a copper on the right hidden behind a bush, but it was some pillock, and the second time I got 8.5 again!

Spooky, you sure you calibrated it to 40 kmh and not 40 mph?

My engine and gearbox are fcked, (have spares in kitchen waiting to be rebuilt and put in) you must be doing something wrong, especially as you already have 175 bhp and now a 'goose.

Yeah, I calibrated it @ 40 KPH, or as near as damn it, it's about 25 MPH. It can just about reach 62-ish in second.

Just did a 400 dash, 15.8 @ 94 mph, scared the sh!t out of me, first 50 meters wheel spinning (outside a MacDonalds, what a twt) & hit the rev limiter in first and messed up 3rd gear change.

I have become a boy racer, someone kill me before it's too late.

There's hope yet, just not 'till i find a more suitable road to do it on.
