Apart from it being slapped round the face real hard, it's a clean car

yeah, I was starting to wonder if I'd ever find a decent cheap one around my area and ended up looking all over the place.
The guy I bought it from (s13james) advertised it in the breakers section as he was gonna break it but I made an offer on it as a whole car and bought it

already got most bits lined up that I'm gonna need I think, no doubt will be coming over to you regularly once I've got it back on the road

only bad thing about it is that its an auto, so if you've got the bits to convert it to manual that'd be handy ;)

112k miles although the engine sounds perfectly fine when its idling (haven't driven it around properly obviously) and it came with tons of service history so has obviously been well cared for in the past

was pulling bits off the front almost as soon as you left (bumper and wing) :D then wrapped a tow rope around various parts and had a go at pulling it straight (didn't really work though)

haven't had a chance to go back and do more cos of the rain :annoyed:

Think you'd better get those tools dried off and cleaned asap. One of the quickest ways to ruin tools unfortunately :(

Cars starting to take shape nicely. Surprised you didn't go down the sil80 route or similar.

And finally (for the moment), me and my mate Ricky started on the car about lunchtime yesterday and were joined a few hours later by Pablo so now the car looks like this....

I started to tape up the bonnet ready for it to be re-sprayed ;)

I forgot to take it up to the garage with me so haven't tried it yet, figured out why the other one didn't always work though and have got it semi working properly now :D

Have now done just over 500 miles in the car in the last few days and apart from the alarm randomly arming itself and going off for about an hour while I was driving round the m25 its been fine. (I unplugged the alarm when I got home, plugged it back in this morning and it seems ok again now, I think it must of just got pissed off with being so wet/windy/muddy over the weekend :wack:)
