I think I have finally finished my S13. Started off wanting to Drift and planned to weld the diff and cut the springs!
18 months later, loads of evenings in the garage and several pounds later here it is. Any more and there would be a divorce on the cards.

that is really really nice. I see you have molded the body kit to the body of the car. One thing how do you get the front bumper off, it looks like that is molded too. Top work though very nice:thumbs:

Stunning :)

The bumpers will remove themselves after the first drift outing I bet ;) :D

Got abit carried away with the smoothing! If need be I can cut around the end of the wing to remove the bumpers. Because I have done all the work myself (and some help from Tommahawk) all it has cost is time and some filler. Coolkits have promised to supply bodykits FOC so when the Drift accident occurs just more time is needed and no dosh.

Nice car!
At what boost level did you get 320?
How do you find the GT2871r at this level of tune? Laggy, problems with surge?

320 was achieved at 1.2 bar boost.
Boost comes on at about 3k, not at all laggy. I think the GT2871r is about as big as is useable with the rest of the mods on my CA. I am lucky and do not get any boost creep, they are known for this.

nice car mate, where did you get the car set up with the omex? did you have to use resistors for the injectors to make them low impedence?

Thanks.
Omex was mapped by Gary at APT. I have used resistors yes.

OK, thanks for you help, if you dont mind me asking how much did apt charge to work on the omex, mapping etc? PM if you wish not to post in a public forum.J:)

Days mapping was £400. I fitted the Omex before I went and ran it on an old map to get there. As Gary will tell you the OMEX is not the best ECU, for example because it is non sequential it meant I could not run large injectors without it overfueling. I think he is working on his own ECU which will use all the OMEX bits. Saying that the map he did for mine is ace, along with the T2871rs boost comes on at 3k and feels strong right up to the redline.

Thanks for yor help mate, I appreciate it,I know that omex isnt best suited to s13s as you cant use the nismo 555s and have to wire in ballast resistors but wasnt aware there were any other complications,I will have to try to phone gary and ask his advice, unfortunately I have bought the omex ecu and wiring harness etc already before I was aware of the problems:rolleyes: apt never answer the phone when ive tried to phone them either......maybe they dont like me?:wack:

Don't get me wrong, the OMEX is fine and is considerably cheaper than anything else out there, I am very pleased with my 320bhp! and if I wasn't worried about passing an MOT I could have run 700cc injectors and 380bhp. APT are like most tuners about answering the phone! PM Gary or Christian on here through the traders section. or try phoning between 8.30 and 9.30 before they get the noisy cars going on the rolling road.
