Hi

Im changing the clutch on my skyline, its a r33 gts-t 1995. Im not sure on what oil is in the box at the minute but it does change gear nicely with little in the way of catching or snagging. Car will not be track raced or drifted. Just road use.

What ya think will tick my box and how much will i require for a rb25 gearbox.
Thanks

Hi,

You will need a 75w-90, synthetic is the best choice.

Silkolene Syn5 75w-90, Motul Gear300 75w-90 would be my top choices.

Cheers

Silkolene gear oil is crap for skyline, have it in there and it has ruined by smooth change,. Wouldnt buy it again.

Do you have redline shockproof ?

Yes we do but I wouldnt recomend the heavy shock proof either, bit like the old sawdust in the gearbox trick.

If you want redline then try the MT90 or the 75w-90 synthetic.

Cheers

Guy.
