Hi thought i'd put a post up in here, aiming for around the 360 - 370 bhp mark, few pictures of eveything, collected it all on friday and started fitting the turbo and manifold yesterday.

Turbo and manifold now in, had a mare getting the downpipe lined up and bolted into the elbow, had to take all the exhaust hangers off, and now they dont line up any more!! bit random :wack:

Just need to get some washers for the braided turbo feeds and I can fire it up! Then its off to sort the exhaust out :annoyed:

@def yup rocker arm stoppers, fitted them yesterday, just got to mod the rocker cover, might do that later. :thumbs:

Didn't have any jobs on today, so fitted the rocker arm stoppers, also had to mod the splash gaurd and cam cover :rolleyes: nothings ever simple is it?!

Gone for a GT2871r, just going out now to fit all the hoses and start it up :D

Sunday

Put all the hoses and pipes back on today, battery was flat so after charging went to start it, it only bl**dy worked

Wanted to run it up to temp and make sure the water levels were OK, but the daughter of a nieghbour came over and complained said her mum was fed up of it being run everynight, :rolleyes: even though its not been started for like 3 weeks! Some people.

I'll put the exhaust bung in tomorrow, its a fair bit louder than it was wasn't exactly quiet before lol

Monday

Drove the car today, no noticealbe leaks, so hard to stay off boost just wanted to goto the ringroad and cain it lol

Can't wait till mapping next week :D :D

All mapped and finished for now!

Made 350.7 bhp and 340ftlbs, I'm happy!! :D

APT, they also fitted the injector clutch and flywheel, did a great job :thumbs:

You know your talking jap turbo power when aiming for 370bhp is classed as a "little power project" lol.:thumbs: :smash: :smash:

Do you know what duty cycle your injectors are at that?

PS I remember fitting my rocker arm stoppers, they were a right pain too, thought they would take 2 mins.

PS I remember fitting my rocker arm stoppers, they were a right pain too, thought they would take 2 mins.

I cant remember mate, I was told, 70% springs to mind :wack: could be worng tho.

Rocker arm stoppers were a pain :annoyed:

I wish I could throw that amount of cash at mine! Did you mod the suspension and brakes previously? I thought 350bhp would be about the limit for the standard conrods?

Suspension was already done, I put 330mm brakes on last week. As for the rods.... we will soon see lol :wack:
