S13 Speakers

Im wanting to change the standard speakrs in the car, what are the sizes in the front and back and what sizes is it possible to put in without any major mods ???

Hi Mate

The size of the speakers in the front and back are 6X4 inches, I managed to fit 6X9's in the front pods without much effort. Most of the people here I think have stuck to 6inch components. As for the back it is a tight area so i'm not sure about that area, I just left them in and put 6X9's in the parcel shelf.

Hi,

6x9 can give u a good bass...that is!
But u need to make a MDF spacer to fit it in the front door..also beware of the size of magnet make sure it won't hit the window glass...

you want bass, drop a couple o' 12's in yer boot!
failing that 6x4's all round, i did notice when i took the pod things out in the rear it appeared that it might be feasable to put a 5x7 in, has anybody tried this?...oh and it's easy to put a 6.5" in the doors, just take the pod off and it's nice and flat.

I have taken out the rear speakers and put some 6x9s in the parcel shelf, im putting a 12" sub in the boot and some components in the front.
