OIl for Honda civic

I need to do an oil change on my G/F car. 45k on clock, all small journeys (5-10 miles a day). Do I need synthetic, semi or mineral??

It's a Honda civic 1.5 vtec(R reg 98)

Either a 10w-40 semi or a 5w-40 fully.
