Sound deadening

I have started to soundproof the boot of my S13 ready for the subs etc and i have used brown bread but it looks like its gonna be a bit expensive! I am happy to do the flat surfaces with it but i was wondering if anyone has used an expanding polyeurethane foam for filling wings and voids etc and if so were there any probs etc etc

I have used Black Jack flashing tape. I think it was recommended by Formula. £8 a roll from Screwfix Direct and just 2 rolls have done the boot, parts of the parcel shelf and the door speaker builds. Smells of bitumen for a bit, but it will wear off. :D
