I've been looking at double din stereo units on ebay and nearly bought one but came across a problem,

the fm frequency of non-european units is somthing like

75.?MHz - 90.0MHz

but the uk is

87.5MHz - 108MHz

so it wouldn't be able to cope with all stations??

Does anyone know if this is a switchable thing within the unit?? OR If this can be changed for minimal cost?? :(

The unit i'm looking at is the mutts nuts so i'm very interested, it's CD/MD combi unit, HELP would be greatly appreciated?!!!!:)

may also have problems with the frequency stepping..

euro and us tuners are slightly out of step with each other.. many say they have no problems but some said their radios never lock onto the station properly..

lots of units come with an option to change from us tuner to euro.. look at the manufacturers website to see what they say..
