Just about to install an amp in the boot..

Had a look yesterday for somewhere to poke the power cable from the engine compartment to the main cabin but couldt see anywhere obvious..

i really dont want to sod about removing the dash if i dont have to..

whats everybody else done??

Stick your head in where the clutch pedal is. Above and slightly to the left will be a hole to poke the wire through. Make sure you you protect it from getting chaffed though, with either a rubber ring/grommet, or a wodge of black tape

were did you end up placing the amp in the boot

yep.. on a board mounted with some passive crossovers over the fuel tank..

the sub is going to be in a box in the left at te back of the boot..

would have ideally been above the fuel tank to be closer to the cabin of the car.. but theres such limited space.. (8 inches vertically)..

the frquencies should resonate through fine anyway..

that`s where my 2 ten inchers are - works a treat if you get speakers that specifically work in small enclosures. Getting a film developed now and will post pics in a few days

give the pump wiring a wide birth,had a spot of bother over that!
sounds exactly like mine only i have multidisc next to amp,its close but it does go
