What are the size of the speakers in an S14 (front)

17cm or 16cm?

as i understand

4 in = 10cm
5 1/4 in = 13cm
6in = 16cm
6 1/2 in = 17cm

i thought 6 1/2 in.

6 1/2 " although the mounting is a bit strange.

in what way?? limited mounting depth?

No, it's just that my car had some cheap Clarion speakers as standard and the holes were in the wrong place. So I drilled a few holes in the door card and mounted the speakers to the front of that.
