How strong is the clutch?

How much pwer can bear the stock clutch of S13 CA18DET?

around 250/260 then you will deffo be shortening its life, still depends how you drive as well.

amazing as this may sound but my stock clutch is just about holding on at roughly 240 rwhp but it hasn't done any track days recently nor much ripping it away from a standstill, would prob let go in a dramatic way if I attempted the latter :wack: . It does depend alot on the amount of mechanical sympathy, but having said that, plan to upgrade in near future - gear changes could be alot better with less slip

I'd strongly advise uprating if you have any more than 250

Mine had been holding nicely at around 250 rwhp until I took to off the road at easter (I got a readout from Thor last summer saying 264 rwhp but I turned the boost down a touch after to avoid det on hot days)

I'll be changing the clutch as part of the rebuild, so I won't know anything further.
