Who rebuilt it, if its a respectable garage then you will get the money, if you've done it yourself, good luck

i own a garage m8. Hardley norris designs but its not some garden shed stripped ona driveway effort. Just out of curiosity whats the R32 in ure sig worth?

looks like rebuilding it wont be worth it as it will cost more in parts than the engine is worth..

Buffy's and Jez's.

By pushing I mean getting towards, not actually running 500, both around 450 at the min I believe.
But I don't doubt that they both could.

are these CA18's, SR20's? or something else?

Both are CA with JE pistons, Pauter rods, metal HG, cams and a bit of port polishing/matching.
Then the obligatory big turbo, intercooler etc etc etc.

I've got 3 dead ones, and I'm still undecided as to whether to rebuild any of them, or just break them all for bits, as the costs of renewing most common bits will take a serious chunk out of any money made selling it (for £300-ish), and if I have a go at rebuilding it and flog it on, it could come back to haunt me if the next owner drives it like a tw@t and doesn't run it in properly , or I make a mistake in the rebuild.
