stage 3 with topmount t3

Will a stage 3 chip work with a topmount t3dual bb turbo?

best check with jez 1st as said above.
i reckon it could be possible on lower boost, but surely a custom map will be your best bet.

im using the t4'0' trim turbo on my sr20 with a jez stage 3 chip and it works very :nod: and thats maped for a t28rs:nod:

it doesnt make 1.7 bar at 2700rpm it spools at 2700 rpm on a 1.7 liter engine

I see it now yes. but the surge graph says it can produce 1.7 or 1.8 bar

mine starts to spool under 3000 and hits 1.4 bar at 4000, also you need to ask jez but i see no problem as long as you do not exceed the recomended boost for the chip settings

It's a pretty small compressor housing, doubt it'll make 400bhp TBH - I'm not a turbo guru though so I could be wrong :wack:

I'm running a T3 but a "Super 60" trim with a .60 a/r housing and it runs fine with Jez's Stage 3 chip - could probably do with some fine tuning with an SAFC or similar but it runs fine :)
