Done a search going back 30months or so and found nothing at all

7JJ stamped on a wheel, does that mean 7.5 inch wide wheel and 7J mean 7 inch wide wheel, if not then what does the second J specify?

7JJ with 42mm offset on 215 40 R17 tyres is going to look much better on spacers really isn't it? :)

The outside edge of the wheel would stick out about 10mm more with the above wheels...
15mm spacers do the job or maybe 10mm a bit more conservative?

Also, for those running 300bhp or more, what size good quality tyres work well, are 215 40 R17's wide enough at the back?
I was running about 240bhp on standard size tyres for nearly a year, never had any probs with them and they weren't top quality tyres either :wack:

7JJ is still a 7 inch rim width, The "JJ" is the profile of the rim itself. Slight difference to a "J" rim. IIRC.
