I've recently purchased an S14, and um, I can't work out how to remove the standard Head Unit so that I can replace it with my own...

Do I need to remove the Facia trim around the front? There are screws at the bottom, but how does the top part come out?

I'm sure this should be simple, but it has defeated me...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Gav.

first move gearstick surround,2screws for panel
then where the switches are for hazards etc
this just pulls out, behind this you will see 2 screws undo and pull entire panel out a bit
pull wires off of cig lighter and stereo and remove entire panel
you can undo all switches but you dont have to
4 screws and the head unit is out

Thanks guys, it's now sorted... (bit of a mammoth task though, but at least it's secure)

Now all I need is to do something with the speakers...
