alright i KNOW my symptoms point toward a knackered turbo,BUT its only done 63k and its only running 14 psi,so.....after curing the idling smoke, using the one way valve trick, superb cheers all for suggesting that! i noticed it was puffing out smoke on gear changes, got back, parked up and noticed an oily smell, pop the bonnet, smoke! hmmm..... now,it looks like either the silly nismo (made of metal so BLOODY hot!) oil filler cap doesnt seal properly or the cam cover gasket is leaking(noticed one screw not quite tight enough,is now!) heres some pics, sorry for quality its from me phone

you can clearly see the oil seeping down the outside of no1 and 2 cylinder area down to the turbo, looks as if it could be the oil filler cap,and theres a touch too much oil in the engine too! so could this be burning off through the breather such as a turbo might do?can i check this in any way? spose if i take the breather and feed it into a coke bottle(for now!) then do i need to block off the breather hole behind the afm?itll only be to check for smoke, ill plug it back in!does this sound like a good theory?or am i just trying not to see my turbo is gone and also finding other faults?

it'll be that oil filler I reckon. The S13 cam covers dont lend themselves to that type. S14's get away with it

Rocker cover? I had a similar leak caused by the rocker cover screws being finger tight  You could try tightening them up  The oil was landing in a similar place to yours.
