Its a mates car - he is going travelling and I am helping him strip it as his parents want their drive back. Email me for more info

Silver in colour. Manual, no aircon

Most parts available, turbo rebuilt about 3 weeks before a piston ring came loose and caused damage, been sitting for a couple of months now as needs to much work to get back on road

K&N air filter

ECU fitted with Jez stage 1 chip

Adjustable actuator from Norris

4 Valbrem 15 inch 6 spoke wheels (the ones that look like two 3 spokes put together), 3 with nearly new tyres, the fourth was nearly new but is flat

ABS parts

etc

Mail me for more info larger parts such as doors and wheels will have to be picked up, others I can send.

Tailgate has rust - not too bad but not great either.

Cheers
Paul

How much for the K+N, ECU and actuator?

Paul_F
23-07-2002, 14:50
About £175 - I think thats fair as the adjustable actuator and k&n is about £180 ( I will chuck in the colder plugs as well - the whole lot has only done about 1000 miles) and the chip was £90 I think.
P&P about a fiver?

Sorry, my fault. Bad grammer......

How much for each of them? Individually? :)

Paul_F

About 60 for the actuator, 30 for the filter and 85 for the ECU.

Its just a rough price though. If your interested will do a deal for all 3.

Billy

Cool.

I'll have the actuator and K+N then.

My car's a later cat equiped type, so I'm not sure the ECU is any use. I'll probably end up with a Jez custom chip anyway.

( Cue maniacal laughter ):D

How do you want paying?

By the way, I'm at work between 2pm and 10pm this week, so don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't reply until 10:30 ! :)

Oh, and if by some remarkable set of circumstances the car still posseses a sunroof blind, I'll have that too!

I have taken photos, but haven't got time to sort them out this evening and am using a friends computer. Will do them after work tomorrow.

People asked about the following things:

Window demister switch - have but the logo is a bit dull

Sunroof blind -its still there and in very good condition

Driver's side wheel arch liner - also present

The drivers door and front wings are in good condition, there is a slight ding in the near side wing near to the bumper and a couple of little surface scratches. However behind the door mirror on the door there is a small amount of rust. This is also present in the passenger door.

Paul_F

Make a reasonable offer, the tyres are are goodyears or pirellis I think. The wheels do have kerbing on them though.

Oh no!

I'm going to have to send you another cheque now!

'Cos I didn't know you had the HKS blowoff valve....

Asuming you HAVE still got it!

Paul_F
31-07-2002, 15:14
I didn't either until I looked at it last night. It was in the boot as it was one of the first things I took off to remove the head to see what was wrong with the engine!
It comes with the boost pipe it is mounted too but I don't have the vacuum pipe that activates it - that was just standard vac pipe on the car though.

Cool. I'll just have to order some more silicone stuff from Bren!

Cheque's in the post (well, in my pocket 'til I get to a post-box).

I wonder if it'll scare the sheep more than the horn does? :D

Still got the passenger door, not quite sure how easy it is to remove or how much its worth as don't know what it looks like!

Will look over the weekend

Paul

Bulldog

Lo, easy to remove. Remove the door cover. Screw in top right corner under a cap and one in the handle. Bring the window down and you will see to stoppers on each side of the glass. Remove these with a phillps head. Then on the lefthand side un bolt the two bolts holding the glass to the runner. Then pull the glass out, leaving the righthand runner on, as this will just pull out. Then unplug the motor and free the cable. Then undo the top two bolts and bottom two bolts. Then slowly and gently ease the unit out. You will see the door has a larger gap so it can be removed. Thats the unit I want, you can remove the motor from the runner, as I don't need that.
Say 30 delivered?
Should take all of ten minutes to remove.
Cheers
