anyone fitted one? they say this unit connects to any Sony head unit with changer control. would that include my old standard (4500?) head unit?

With a fairly extensive mp3 "collection" 1000 tracks in the boot sounds interesting.

As long as your sony head unit has the ability to control a normal sony cd changer you should have no problems in fiting one of the new mp3 capable changers. It should say on the face plate of the unit if it can control a cd changer ( an easy give away is to look at what it says on the buttons, if it has buttons for the cd changer then it should all work fine).
It is just a simple job of plugging in one main cable to the back of the head unit, and 2 phono cables.
