Replacing door speakers

I want to replace my door speakers but not sure whether the speaker covers just come straight off or do I have to take the whole door panel off?

Anyone else with an S14a know?

In the S14 you take the door panel off, quite easy if you have the nissan manual (its on here somewhere if you do a search) and follow the sequence it gives.

Inside is a big ole nylon housing for the speaker to sit in, I assume you have checked the speakers will be compatable. I only know coz I too the whole lot off to get at the door restrictor a couple of weeks ago:)

6.5" speakers will fit but have to be quite flat on the top.

i have been informed kenny dual mags are direct replacements
so thats what i have ordered
if you can be bothered i would rewire the speaker with some proper sized cables,the standard one's are rubbish and have a connector that's for the clarion speaker

you have got to use better cable mate the original stuff is crap.
