View Full Version : anyone got an old spec drivers seat???
Hey guys, I'm after a drivers seat as mine is shafted! the springs have gone and the side support, then again the previous owner was a canny large bloke so not really suprising!
anyone got one and how much?
cheers
I can do you one, not sure how much the postage for it would be though. So if you can't find one closer let me know and make me an offer:)
Cheers mate, I'm having bother sourcing a drivers seat closer to home. Any idea how much postage would be or could you find out?
is the seat you got in better condition than mine -> check out attachment
The one I have is quite a bit better. I'll check on the postage costs for you, when I looked into getting a seat of off bren it as about £20, but I'll check for sure.:)
cheers mate, let me know when you find out. How much do you want for the seat? could you post a pic?

Mail me if you have any more trouble and Ill see what I can do.
Two of the seats are in particularly nice condition :D
Starting to get desperate for an early spec drivers seat (all-in-one seat|+headrest) Mine is getting worse by the day.

Looks in better nick than mine!!!! How much you want for it?
Think I said £40 + p&p earlier didn't I?
How's that sound?
mate, they are fixable with a bit of TLC... did it to mine anyway, and it looks pretty good... mine was like yours before I started:
-Cut a chunk of sponge the same size as the tear in the back rest, push this in like packing... then sow the seat together with fine thread, close stitches, and all the way from the side seam around to the side seam again (so it doesn't look puckered... bob's your Uncle!!.. did this with the bottom too, just to tension the fabric, and looks good... maybe get a woman to do it if your not too handy with a needle and thread mind.;)
cheap job!!
:D
Try Matt J, he's breaking 2 at the moment.
