Brand new, never been used or fitted 70mm throttle body kit to bolt directly onto an S14 inlet mainfold.

£200 including delivery.

The standard 55mm throttle body begins to be restrictive at power outputs of 350bhp or more so i'm lead to believe and that's why I bought it.

what is the diamiter where the intercooler pipe goes on to it ? std one is 70mm just wondering if i can make it fit

think it's 80mm, the throttle plate is 70mm.

dont suppose you want to seel you intake manifold aswell ? i can give you my std one if you want to sell the engine with one on it

Is it a straight fit replacement for a 14a? I take it you just remove the old TB change over the throttle position switch and bolt on TB to the inlet manifold. The std intercooler pipework will fit straight on looking at your dimensions is this correct? Is any additional modification required to fit? What make is the throttle body and were did you buy it from? The throttle body looks to just a bored out std part if so what are the two adaptors plate used for? Is the throttle body bore polished?

It's a direct replacement.
You just bolt it on but the car will probably need mapping though for it to run right I guess.
No additional modifications are required as far as I know. It's a Tommei kit and the throttle body is a brand new genuine Nissan item with an adaptor kit.

Could you explain please, why the original nissan 70mm throttle body need adapter kit? Why couldnt you just put it directly without adapter?

the original throttle body is not 70mm mate it's more like 55mm needs the spacer to allign the bolt holes to the original ones in the S14 inlet plenum

The 70mmvTB is a new item from a N15, the holes don't line up with the S14 plenum so you use the adaptor plate.

And this thread is 18 months old and I suspect he's sold it.
