Warped head but otherwise engine has only done 12k since rebuild.

Hi, I might be interested in the engine. When it was re-built, what was done to the engine?

The engine was rebuilt in August 2000, It has done less than 15k since then, probably less than 10k, it had everything done that was needed.

As I remember it was

New Cranks where necessary,
New bearings,
New timing chain,
New Turbo

and more, I can't really remember to be honest, I will scout around for the receipt (not hopeful), and update if I find it.

basically anything that needed doing was done.

i'm after the speed sensor ..

its under the car, middle ish, where the propshaft leaves the gearbox, its a round pot about £2 coin sized ...

can u let me know how much u want, and where to send the cheque etc pls ...

Car is metallic grey (The same as most of the others I see)

Make me a reasonable offer for the speed sensor and its yours

Again make me an offer for the engine, I would prefer if the buyer removed it, I will help, as I am not a mechanic and wouldn't want to damage anything. Out of interest the engine was producing 189bhp just before the head warped (dyno chart to prove) and was tested and tuned by Well lane turbos.

If this is the dark metallic grey and the drivers side front wing and the boot lid are in good condition I am interested in them - are they okay and if so how much would you be wanting for them?

Im not jumping on morgaines toes here, but having just pulled my car out of a ditch, and particularly if its metallic grey I might be interested in both front wings, the bonnet, the nocecone and both of the lights :eek: :eek: :eek:

Basically, the little ends are on their way out on my car so I need conrods & gudgeon pins. If the little ends have been done on the engine then it'll be worth buying. I haven't really got a clue as to how much it's worth, £120?

Sorry to all who've been trying to get in touch.

The car is being moved into the garage this weekend and all parts that I am removing for people can then be removed. (out of the rain and wind)
