right my clutch has started slipping and its annoying me, its doing it alot now just with the power and its age.

now i have the scottish rr day at dastek soon and id like to get it changed b4 then, but i wanna know if its ok to replace with std clutch (cheaper option)

id like the organic clutch for future bhp/torque growth but really bit out of my budget with xmas coming up etc.

so whats the opinioins of you lot?

also just to clear it up, i have the wurring of the gear box etc when u dip the clutch it goes.... which bearing is that? and where can i get it (may as well get it while im changing the clutch)

If you don't get many answers try a search, myself and a few others have asked this recently in this section.

Can't go wrong with RPS mate, see

Dan got me an RPS clutch (he had it under his bed I think LOL) :)

I can confirm that the pedal pressure seems roughly the same and the take-up is only slightly more aggressive than the std one. Ideal if you need a clutch to hold a bit of power/torque but use the car daily...

(Dan, where's my commission!?!) :D

Yep - I ran it in from the Thursday to the Saturday 9am (at which point I commenced drifting on it - well actually it was my first time at D1 and I understeered around the circuit most of the day :ghey:) LOL:D

Dan - I even put the stickers on the car the other day too!!!

Tell you what - get me a Drift diff for £200 and we'll call it quits :D
