Bren at Apex does a 310mm brake kit for around £400-500 depending on whether you have the part kit or the full one. It's highly rated. Apex also do various other big brake kits. A lower cost alternative would be to change the disks/pads to a better spec but leave the diameter and calipers the same as std - the traders section is the place to go searching for prices.

You could also consider upgrading the brakes buy using parts from other Nissans - for example, the Brembo setup from the Skyline GTR (R33 or R34) is a relatively easy fit option and gives you 324mm rotors (will not fit with std wheels + may be tight with 17's). You need to be quick to pick these up as they're popular but can be had for around £500 (if your lucky, or called Si, or both  ).

All depends what your budget is. Around £600 will get you the 310mm conversion as well as groved rears + pads.

I was going to go down the Skyline Brembo route until I saw how much the rotors where!!!!

Depends how much you want to spend, if you've got a spare £1500 + lying about then go for something like the AP racing 6 pots etc   :D

R33/34 set-ups are hard to come by - very rarely come up on any of the Skyline forums - and as Hates mentioned you might like to check the price of replacement discs   if you decided to go down that route.

Similarly sized ones I suspect ;) Nissan charge £600 each I think  or something stupid.

Nissan charge £600 each I think  or something stupid.Sounds right if from Nissan! I think the Brembo discs can be bought for around £370 if you shop elsewhere to match the Brembo calipers. I personally wouldn't run cheap discs if I had gone to the trouble of getting good calipers, not that there's much wrong with the stock ones

Apparently, the std Brembo disks can be bought in Japan from Nissan for a mere £300 each  but there are companies in the US and Japan who do good quality direct replacments.

The Brembo setups don't come up all that often. If you look on the GTR forum you'll see alot of familiar names under "Parts Wanted". I was lucky to get mine direct from Japan with only 10,000 kms reported use. An alternative that I was also looking at was to get the fronts off the 350Z which I believe are the same as the R34 Brembos. Don't get the rears off the 350 though as they're not compatible.
