I got a big box full of tubs of AP Racing brake fluid through this morning. Its their 551 fluid which is far better than Dot 5.1 and yet still has low hydroscopic properties making it ideal for road cars. I defy you to cook this fluid!! LOL

Its £4.80 for a 0.5l bottle :)

If you want better brakes then you wont go far wrong by fitting decent pads, braided hoses and this fluid. Of course I stock it all ;) LOL :D

For those interested Im trying to source some Mintex pads for the S13 and S14 as they are better than the Greenstuff. It looks like Ill have to have some specially made but Ill keep you informed :)

Do the mintex have the same "dust free" properties as greenstuff?

How much for the braided hoses ?
How much for 1 litre of fluid ?

How much in total inc P&P & minus bulk buy discount :D

Goodridge braided hose set £42.50 (ND price £54!) and 1ltr of fluid £9.60. Carriage will be £6.45. I had to buy twenty of these bottles to get a miserly 12% discount so youre idea of bulk buying will have to change somewhat in order for you to get a discount!! ;) :D LOL

Im just stocking it as a service as I know people like to use decent fluid when they change the lines etc. Its not a money making thing for me, Im just being considerate :) That 12% discount was used up in my carriage cost getting the box to me so Im going to make nothing. :)

The rear pads are cheaper. They dont do Greenstuff but Blackstuff (softer compound) is £15 for the S13s and £20 for the S14 :)

I'd be interested in how much you can get M1155s for the 300ZX calipers too...

Let me know when you do, I need some pads when I get my car back on the road (next month)and I don't like greenstuffs too much.

I just had a look at my rear brakes and I may well need some new pads in the near future.

Just need to assess whether I need new disks as well, hopefully not!! :(
