At the Northern meet on Sunday a few people seemed to be interested in the availability of in car adjustable boost controls, without the need for expensive boost controllers. I know GT Tuning made an actuator for the R5 Turdo that could be adjusted via a dashboard control knob. I think you could alter the min and max values on the actual unit and then move between this range woth the control knob.

Are any of you able to supply these ?

Thanks.

Bren, does the in car adjustable part link to the an uprated actuator ?

Thanks.

You can run them with any actuator you like as all they do is tap into the actuator to compressor housing pipe. They are just an adjustable bleed vavle that sits in the dahs, nothing special but they do the job :)

Or you can wait 'til I've sorted my cheap (hopefully) electronic jobbie, and I'll make you one. (Or sell you mine!)

Aye, electronics always better than mechanical ;)

That sounds promising Billy. Let me know how you go on with your controller. I may be up your way next week, as I have the week off so will be visiting friends around High Lane and no doubt going for a blast along the Cat'n'FIddle pass etc.

Thats interesting. I did not realise that Electronic boost controllers could be had for £250. I must start looking in the right places.

Thanks.
