View Full Version : losing the cat
I want to fit a mongoose stainless exhaust and lose the cat. A guy at my local dealer says the probe to the cat can cause problems if removed. Anybody got any suggestions.
As far as I know there are no probes in or to the cat. I took the main cat off my '98 S14a, and the only problem I now have is I can't stop grinning! :D
Sounds like the dealer is talking out of his rear end as usual! - expect nothing less from salesmen and uneducated fitters at main dealers. If it's not an oil change you're after the're normally out of their depth
