any news on the replacement for my SPEC clutch

Ap are being massivelt slow so Ive ordered a batch of Exedys as they seem ok in the 200s, if not in the GTiRs.

But we are having to wait for those too

They are due with us this week.

God knows how long the APs are going to be as AP are being very very very slow

are the exedeys as good as the Ap's Bren?

I dont think so but if AP arent going to supply us with what we need then we have no choice but to go elswehere. Ive looked into it and the only probs Ive found with Exedys and the SR are when theyre run in a GTiR with the extra load of the 4wd system.

Id rather do APs but theres little choice at the mo.

We have some new clutches here that are going to be tested but until we have some feedback I dont want to let them go.

have you any idea how long the AP's are going to be?? cos they sound better and i dont want to mess around changing the clutch in 6months, i've waited this long i think i will hold on for an AP please.

I couldnt say. Weve been waiting well over a month as it is and AP dont tend to give accurate lead times

You can try one of our new clutches if you like. Theyre supposed to be very good but then so were the SPEC so we are getting a few guys to test them.

what make and specification are the new clutches you have? If you were to send one of these out could you arrange collection of the Spec clutch at the same time?

Theyre a secret make. Im not having people copy us on stuff if I can help it. Not after I go to the time and trouble to test stuff and then the huge exspense to sort out all the fecked bits that dont work

Theyre supposed to take huge amounts of torque and do look good but as I say Ive no feedback on them now. We can send you one to swap for the SPEC, thats not a problem.
