    my 14a drifter

hi all im new here, a few of ye know me,
just said i'd fire this up here,
i bought this about 2 months ago to build as
    my drift car for 2011,
    its a reg'd 94 s14 with a 14a conversion,
i bought it as a rolling shell,
it had overfenders, vented front wings,
full kit(very tatty) and most of the arms were
adjustable, shell is in good nick so its a good base.
    my plans are as follows;
    fully strip the whole car,
    fully seam weld it,
    full calicages weld-in cage,
    custom loom,
    in-car fuel tank,
    pedal box,
going to run a holset hx30(thanks tweek)
    830cc injectors,
    metal headgasket,
    nistune,
and im going to run e85.
    and its getting fully resprayed.
just a few pics of how i got it and how it stands now.

    then i started stripping

Hey Mark! Welcome to the SXOC!

I've not seen Nelly's garage since it's been finished, ye've defo got the right workshop to do that work in anyway!

Are you staying yellow or what colour(s) are you going for next year?

    a little update on this.
the whole car is now stripped and ready for seam welding,
i made up the base plates for the cage and the mount for the handbrake and nelly welded
them in place,we also made a start on the cage tonight,
we got the main hoop and the two side bars that run along
the top of the doors to both footwells made and test fitted,
its going to be one tight fitting cage. i also removed the fuel tank
and the old fuel lines as im going with an in car tank and brand new
fuel lines. i picked up a donor car to rob a few bits off of aswell,
most of the bits i need were on it plus its a spare shell if i bang
this one. anyway enough shit talk, heres a few pics

a few pics of the donor car

I recognize the yellow s14 from colm's place in Cashel. I've seen it running but never in action.

And I got a tomei 2-way out of it!

we got the cage finished and welded in place,
also i finished seam welding the car,
and got the engine bay in primer,
sanded the outside of the car aswell

    ive the subframe stripped,
going to sand this to and respray it.
