    Choosing an engine management system

Theres been a few threads recently about engine management options, so I thought I'd create a list to help people choose.

Heres a price comparison with our recommendations:

    Heres a features comparison:

We can supply, fit and map all of the options above. If anyone has any questions, let me know

Nistune is very different to Emerald. They could probably do it though - they'll need to buy the Nistune software and a consult lead (and the Nistune board etc for your car)

Would it be worth adding the map resolution to the table, I know that the PFC has 20x20 tables, I would imagine that the solaris, etc have a better resolution?

To be honest having a large table resolution isn't really a big advantage. All are more than 16x16 which is fine for most engines.

Standard ECU (H-Dev ECU upgrade, H-Dev custom maps and Nistune) are 16x16
    PFC is 20x20
Solaris is configurable up to 25x40 (I'm only using 16x20 on my car)

Hi im interested in getting a H-dev chip probs Stage 1a, but i was wondering if i had more mods than installed than what was required would it work ok or would it be better to get a Nistune and remap?

    Thanks,

    Matt

If you went for a 1a map on one of our boards, we'd be able to custom map afterwards if your spec changes. Or you could do with a Nistune board that will give the same results as using our board. The advantage of going with a Nistune board is that you can buy laptop software to remap it, where as with our board only we can remap it.
