    Thanks guys!

Hi, Frequency Modulated from Octane.ie here.

Thanks Stiv for extending the invitation to us to help fill the numbers for today. I was only spectating but it was good craic right from the start with usual TD antics right from when I supervised Philb tightening up the rear diff on the Saab to finding myself forgetting the meaning of GTR ME HOLE just before I left. :P

Looking forward to heading along to the next one.

    Cheers,

    K.

Here's just a few of the pics I took....

First off.... Big thanks to Stiv today. I was only there as spectator initially but asked for a few laps so the lads in Mondello could get a drive-by decibel reading for my car. After 5 or 6 laps I resumed as spectator but the bug had bitten so dug my hand in my pocket and dished up some dough for the rest of the day!

Bloody great day it was too! It was the first visit to the track since serious suspension and brake work done to the car so I was learning the car again and getting quicker as the day went on.

Hopefully I didn't hold anyone up too much!

    Thanks again for having me

    Dubs.

And a few pics from me:

This carlton was brilliant! Not a single shot of it going in a straight line!

Deffinatly not facing the right way!

    This:

Snapped back a little too much and turned into this!

And Stiv, realising through the help of his passanger, where the actual braking point is!:

It was great fun. I'll have some shots up in a small bit. Only in the door a few minutes.

open pit is definatly the job all right. absolutly savage day had, even though i made bits of the front bumper, oh well, continuing the tradition i suppose

that twin cam was a weapon 20 valve engine with t/b's, light weight everything and r888's, seriously fast car
probably the best battle i had all day was about 4 laps trying to overtake him. very little between us

apologies to subzero, i didn't realise that was youself that was talking to me 'till we were heading home and podge asked me if i had brought you out and i told him no, you hadn't come up to me
sorry about that man but i'll definatly bring you out next time

And finally, a NA S15 owners fantasy coming true...

Slightly sideways with a whiff of smoke!

I have about 750 more photos, If any of you like the shots, you can have the originals. I will drop my lot down to Muttly, and you can purchase (shameless plug) a dvd of all the shots we took.

great great day... first time doing a track day... was like driving miss daisy early on... but got to grips with it after some suspension modification...

from 4pm onward it was pedal to the mat all the way... for which i seem to have fried my brake system... shag all brakes on the way home..

thanks to stiv for organsiing and hope to be along again...
