Some of the info on that Sticky is incorrect, the SilEighty was never made by Nissan, it was made by Kids Heart in Japan FOR Nissan.

Not true. They outsourced them, as Jord said. Kids Heart made them under contract afaik.

S13 - Silvia with CA18DET
PS13 -Silvia with SR20DET
KPS13 - Silvia with SR20DET and hicas
RS13 - 200sx with CA18DET
RPS13 - 180sx with SR20DET
KRPS13 - 180sx with SR20DET and hicas

These are often not used correctly though, and generally on here the UK 200sx referred to as a S13, when it's actually a RS13.

It's mainly because there just aren't enough actual S13's over here to bother using the RS13 format

Yeah, its just easier to shorten it. I call my car a PS13 when its actually a KPS13, but it doesn't matter. It matters when you get it wrong by adding too many letters though. That makes you silly.
