I'd assume that you'd have to have it tested, and if you were in club class you would probably have to provide proof that it is capable of passing an MOT.

I'd email the time attack people directly and see what they have to say as it's not expanded on any more than that

Kudos mate, your car is now my desktop background. The only other car ever to have been there is mine!

Can't believe that you did not keep the moulds. What is you have an off on the track?

No probs, if you give it a couple of weeks, it should be mapped and ill have it all back together again. Ill also feel better about having it running once its mapped. Trying to run the cams in on a pfc base map used rather a lot of fuel!

Cheers mate!!

I never said i didnt keep the moulds just that i wouldnt reproduce the parts for anyone else!!

My exact thinking was
If i have an off, i can just make another one!

Thing is, there is no where for a cat, lights certainly wont pass, nor will hyd handbrake, the ride height, and perhaps the cannards, splitter edges and rear wing would be classed as dangerous to pedestrians.

Other than that, its hardly unsafe and its not rotten anymore

I would like to get it scrutineerd for my own piece of mind, wouldnt this be enough

Back again.

So cleaned the garage and car out once again i was left with this

I started to make and trim up the finnished panels one by one and putting them on as i went

Then i made some door trims at less than a kilo each

Made my exhaust system from jetex universal parts and existing systems i had

And the ally box inside to shield the heat, the 1/4 now has a vent on it to let the heat out f the box

This is the flat floor coming together, the exhaust intrudes into the air flow a bit, but not much. This is far from ideal but nothing i can do about it untill i know what noise levels it produces and get a smaller silencer.

Rear diffuser in its early stages.

Originally, the front splitter and sides ,which make up part of the floor, were built from grp. But they were far too flimsy.
If i made them any thicker they wouldnt have got much stiffer for the weight diference.

So it was either use a core mat between the fiberglass to add thickness or find another material.
Using coremat would have used loads of resin, which is the heavy bit, so i opted to try another material

Plywood is used for all types of motorsport, even Radicals and the likes use it for splitters.

So i traced round my mould and proceeded to make a very stiff splitter which would mount to the car not the bumper.
This way, any downforce will be transmited to the chassis and not just used to flex the bodywork

Good grief! That's amazing! First shot kinda reminds me of the new GT-R. In particular the arches.

Edit. Just found this similar GT-R

Red and black works so well.
