Some pics of my track car

Hi there,
I thought it was about time i put up some pics of my track car now that its finnished.
We took these yesterday after i finally got it running and managed to get it out of the garage under its own power!

Its taken 3 years of hard graft to get it to this point and i never thought id see the day, so i was more than happy!!

I had thought about having a project thread from the beginning, as i have hundreds of photos from during the build. But then i would never have time to work on the car would i.

Im sure it will not be to everyones taste, but for me its function over form.
It is a pure track car, it will never see a public road and will never be road legal.

Since then i have fitted the front screen back in, it sits on foam and uses little ally tags to hold it in (nascar style). This way it is easy removable and shouldnt crack.

Also gave it a little polish this morning, and now im bored with nothing left to do on it!

Its booked in with APT in 2 weeks for mapping, and after that im going to try get a couple of trackdays in to get some setting up done before winter.

Thanks guys.
Its a bit hard to list a full spec as the whole thing has been rebuilt from a bare metal shell. The only origonal part left is the steering column. And even that had the ign barrel removed!

Im not going to say how much its cost me, but lets say a very decent deposit on a house (in the mrs's eyes!!)
If i hadnt have been able to do it all myself then i wouldnt have done it, paying someone to do it would be pretty much 100k with all the labour!
