Driftworks Win The European Drift Championship

What a year we've had!

Driftworks Ltd sales manager and pro driver Ben Broke-Smith (Bonbon) has had a flawless year in EDC. Leading the championship from round two all the way to the final, and finishing in first place, with a clear 19 point advantage over the 2nd place finisher. Once again firmly establishing Driftworks Ltd as number one in Europe for drifting, and affirming our knowledge of performance and motorsports products and setup as second to none.

Bon used the 560bhp Driftworks Toyota Chaser for the first 5 rounds, and the 460bhp Driftworks Nissan Skyline for the final round.

A big thanks and congratulations goes to Bonbon for winning the EDC championship

I’ve also had a lot of fun this year.
with the build of the S15 taking longer than it should, it has been a bit up and down.. I was hoping to re-gain my title this year, but it hasn't exactly worked out like that.
I've qualified in the top 3 in most competitions I've entered, but had the unfortunate draw of meeting Kumakubo from Team Orange in two of the EDC top 16 battles, so I've not done as well as I’d have liked in EDC..

The Driftworks S15 has fast become known as pretty much the best drift car in the world.. Our build and suspension products are second to none, and we our proud to say that it is a car built by our own hands. There is quite honestly nothing else that creates such a spectacle on track, and I'm getting more comfortable in the car with every event I drive it, so watch this space in 2009 for some serious results
I achieved my first win in the car at the Prodrift/JDM Allstars event recently.

Check these video's out.

Newest Team Driftworks member Dan Chapman has had a fantastic first year in competition in the Driftworks PS13 Silvia. Achieving a 2nd place in the JDM Allstars series, and proving that he’s someone to really watch our for next season.

We'd also like to congratulate our good friend Dave Walbrin for winning the British Drift Championship using Driftworks suspension.

Next year we'll be making a few changes in the Team Driftworks Camp. I'm really looking forward to having a competitive season in the S15 alongside the rest of Team Driftworks

We'd also like to thank you all for your support again this season
