Exhaust control valve or De-cat?

Was thinking about a de-cat but also came across this>>>

Has anybody tried one or what's everyones opinions?

Personally, I would control the what the engine (and aux parts) thru the ecu and use a plain de-cat.

Wouldn't the control valve be the best of both world's?
