Beat this VVT rattle!

hi peeps, i changed my VVt sprocket last wknd and just before the work started i thought i would do a recording of it.

i thought mine was qutie bad but can anyone beat that?

mine doesnt do it, but did it once on a warm start and was as loud as that.. went away pretty quick though

Do you still have the old sprocket? Is there any chance you could pop it open for me and take a look at the splines?

U do not know how much happier u've made me listening to that!!!!
Mine only does it when u first put the engine under lod after a cold start.

Did u run it without oil for six months or something?!!!!!

Damn that starts to sound like mine if you let it idle for >5 minutes on a hot day.

Only does it then though, so I haven't been bothered to change her. After running 2 group buys you'd think I'd score one myself LOL.

I dont want to tempt fate, but my '95 S14 is on 114K and i dont have even the slightest whiff of VVT rattle
