    speedo converter (signal wire??)

ive recently bought a speedo converter for my silvia s14a, i have wiring instructions with the converter,
I need to find out which wire is the signal wire on the speedo head plug? As my instructions arent clear enough
Does anyone know or know where i can find a wiring diagram ? I also need live an neutral wire , but i could find another source for that if need be.

In s14a it is pin 32 on ECU, yellow-green wire.

Ok cheers, so in theory it should be the same colour at the speedo head plug.
It would be great if you could tell me where i can get a pin diagram so i know where to start looking.

That wire is where the speedo outputs the speed to the ECU

The input to the speedo (where I expect you'd put a mph converter) is from the gearbox sender.

This should give you a pinout diagram.

It's wires 25 and 26. See if the colours are red and red+yellow stripe.
One of those is the signal, the other is the neutral. Use a multimeter and see which of the two corresponding pins on the back of the clocks is joined to pin 40 (the ground connection) - that one will be the neutral one of the pair.
