been doing a bit more, radiator is now in the boot along with the alloy fuel tank all tacked up ready for welding
[i have just swaped to photobucket as uploadit are shit]
view from underside, no bottom to boot as its going to be part of the splitter
i like my brackets to be meaty, just need to remove the rad and tank and weld it all up
a few random pics
looks good bud,
personally i would run the pipes to the rear in copper pipe, that way they also act as a radiator on there way to the boot and are much less likely to be damaged than silicone or rubber ones are,
cheaper too,
well the shell is know at sutton soda blasters to get striped back to bare metal then etch primed, Chunk from driftworks collected/delivered it on his transporter for a very good price
this is the blasting guys project
Milestone!
All downhill from here dude - no more chassis mods allowed now!
Love seeing these updates of yours mate. Always staggered at the level of workmanship undertaken and carried out to such a level.
Keep em coming and i will be picking your brains about a few things shortly!! haha
Cheers Aj
that 68 charger is the car i aspire to own
Chunk from driftworks collected my chassis today, top guy and cheap [call him on 07870996702]
back at home, used the engine crane to lift it off the trailer
found new rust
bolted on chassis turner for the last time to finnish welding and painting it
mint
just need to find room in the garage now
