replace plugs, and if you have a few mods, reduce the gap slightly.
hopefully it's this and not coils.... |

try the plugs and re-gap them on 0.8-0.9mm.....
If that doesnt help....try and swap the coils+coil-loom. |

well, switched plugs today, and im happy to report its SO much smoother on idle, sounds lovely (im assuming it mustve been running on 3 because it sounded like a peco-big-bore-4'd impreza yesterday, now sounds nice and smooth!
but on the downside!! the missing continues HERES A POINT!! a prefacelift tank was used when the petrol tank needed replacing, and i think its quite a possibility the prefacelift pump wouldve been switched with it ... could that be causing my woes?! |

i found mine to be the fuel pressure regulator so be worth a check if you are still having the problem.

i am having a slight miss myself. I feel your pain in tracking all this stuff down. so many things to check. i am going to buy two new coils and try swapping them around and see if that fixes the problem. i just binned the warm start solinoid. seems the cars runs a tad better. not sure if that is the butt o meter telling me something. the search still continues

It's not the pump for sure. The pump doesn't "get tired" or runs out (on a stock setup, it operates at ~75% @ WOT), nonsense. The pump either pumps, or doesn't.
The best posiblity is that it's either a sensor (like the CAS) or something electronical after the ECU if it's not the ECU itself! |

Stop talkin bullshite mate Its a bloody fact fuelpumps pump less when gettin older..... Explain the fact that a lot of people loose such problems by dropping in an uprated/new fuelpump? Why do sum people always act like they are sum kind of god, and go completly the other way if its been proven to be the oposite way?
