Oooh lubly jubly. That's a very nice looking piece of kit you've got there fella. If you click on hybrid dynamics on the first post of this thread it will show you the peak boost kit.

well going by current exchange rates this kit costs £1600 quid shipped to the uk, but then there is the problem with import tax, but the greddy kit is £2400 if i am correct, this extra money could be spent on a power fc.

Which greddy kit are you talking about? The comparison that I've been looking at is a HKS kit.

I'm more than aware of that...dont really see the point you're making. A HKS kit comes with the hardware to fit it, manifold, oil and coolant lines etc...but so does the package on the US site?

If you're trying to say HKS or Greddy manifolds are better than Peakboost (as they are the other major component of the kits), i'd suggest you buy a peakboost manifold and run some tests on it, they have a great reputation and come with a lifetime warranty. I know a few people with hks manifolds that have had to have them re-welded, may be just coincidence but hey.

You buy your stuff from japan...because its made there and its cheap there...there's no other source. Why shouldnt other people buy straight from japan? If ordering from Jap was such a mission you wouldnt be in business
What dont you get? The point Im making is simple, the kits put together from bits here and bits there are often problematic.

Where did I say that the Jap manifolds are better than the Peakboost items or anyone elses?

I dont recall saying other people shouldnt order from Japan, where did I say, insinuate or hint at that?

You dont seem to be reading the words that Im typing properly and are simply filling in the gaps with what youd like to think I said rather than taking the meaning of what Im saying at its face value

Why is it that because im a trader nothing I have to say is valid to some people. Id have thought that as a trader, a very serious car enthusiast and as someone who has more experience of these things than most that my opinions might carry some weight. Evidently not. What do I know, Ive only tested and run 11+ different turbos and multiple turbo/manifold configurations

Well said that man. I understood exactly what you were/are getting at Bren but as you said above, some people seem too often to read something a bit too quick and not fully understand what is been said. From that the gaps are filled in incorrectly and the end result is that the point gets missed. Should you come across the 3037 kit at a good price gimme a shout.

e-bay

Just seen this on e-bay!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SR20DET-Top-Mo...QQcmdZViewItem

What are peoples views on these kits, i bought a very similar kit a few years ago for my cavalier turbo

It seemed to be ok, sounded nice with and external gate and screamer pipe but was a pain in the ass making up all the pipes for the intercooler and the exhaust! Seems cheap though!

CRAP! That's putting it mildly! Run like feck as fast as you can - in the opposite direction of course.
