Engine parts from the USA

Hi Guys, I have done a few searches but not really come up with any decent info.

I wanted to know who has orderd stuff from the states? Can you reccomend any dealers/websites?

Basically its looking like I need to rebuild the engine on the S14 I am buying, so I phoned Apex about some Weisco pistons and they dont currently have any and are unsure when they can next get some.

I then made a call to my mate from New York, basically it looks like I can get a (limited) amount of stuff sent over carrage free with no **cough** vat **cough**

I have seen a few places on ebay.com, just wondered if anyone else had used any decent places for pistons, light flywheels, cams, ARP bolts, etc etc

Thanks.

Try www.greenline.jp in Japan for Japanese bits.
www.courtesyparts.com in the US for Nissan OEM stuff much cheaper than the UK. Also www.perfectrun.com.au for OEM/aftermarket. www.rhdjapan.com occassionally have some nice stuff in.

I bought pistons and rods through Ebay at a good price (user Dynoflo1 or something like that). In general I have found Japanese suppliers quicker than US based ones.

Thanks Papa, I will have a look through that lot, no sleep tonight again then! lol.

I have found these guys http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SR20DET-2-2-Liter-Big-Bore-Kit-SR20DE-SR20-Darton-CP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33623QQihZ019QQitemZ 8041703857QQtcZphoto

And they have some bits like pistons and ARP bolts pretty cheap, aswell as this 2.2 kit....although a 90mm bore

PS Fair play to you for still playing with your 200 mate! I remember you from the last time around, when I did my S13. Should be around a bit longer this time, with a slightly better project!

Second vote for importperformance. Got my wiesco from there delivered next day to mate in the states for $400.

For genuine nissan parts I used courtesy nissan, brought all the gaskets, timing chain and tensioners etc.

Nice one PaulSX, that is cheap. I will login and take a closer look. I assume, the 87mm 8:1 C/R are the ones to go for?

Does anyone know the part no for a Fidanza Flywheel? Again I have tried searching but no joy.

I think its this one but want to be 100%:

And Lastly, Papa, I notice you are using Eagle Rods, are you pleased with them?

Cheers

You sir are a top man!

I was hoping to get a complete engine gasket set though, with all seals the lot, not sure if there is such a thing.
