Just wondered if anybody know's which wire is which????
Ive found the earth and the permanant live, the car doesnt seem to have a switched live though and the rest which are left are just to confusing :lol:
Its also got a electric arial but im not to sure which wire's they are eather.
Any help would be appreceated
One word of warning, the car doesn't have an earth for the headunit, it's earthed through the mounting chassis. Take a wire to a ring crimp on a screw on the gearbox surround under the centre console. The wire you think is an earth is probably actually the illumination
Which wire is which can be found on page EL-77 of the service manual.
I found this quite useful when I did mine.
Otherwise, trawl through the ICE section - there are loads of threads on it in there
