    Calipers are very light
    Disks are heavy.

What size wheels will you need to use those

Oh, and will the callipers have a good choice of brake pads or do you have to use a certain brand?

Both brens 17" wheels fit over the 356 Kit - just and I mean just, Several pads are already made in that size - bren and I both used DS3000's yesterday.

Ill get exact weights on the 356mm rotors and the 330mm rotors very soon, as soon as Kev brings back my 330s

Ill also get info on the calipers.

There are a wide range of pads available from a number of different manufacturers, you arent restricted to K-Sport

We ran our Skyline on 17" Rays rims all day yesterday and we know that 17" Ultralite Battles also fit.

Ive deleated the chaff about prices because no on yet knows the final price of the 330s nor the 356mm so its just speculation and clutters this thread. The 330s, after spending not far off £5k on development and testing (we had TWO cars out testing at Oulton park yesterday!), are now going to be closer to £800 than £700 and all I said about the 356mm is that theyll be less than a grand.

We are also not selling the original kit offered by K-Sport. We have uprated a number of components which has increased our cost price over the first ones they sent us. Ive had just about every component altered and/or upgraded from their run of the mill kit.

As it stands we have to sell a large number of kits just to break even at the GB price, it will take a long while before we start making a profit.

The 356mm are possibly a long way off. We only started on them yesterday, they might not be ready for months yet. It depends how the testing goes

If I get the 330mm kit can I just upgrade the discs alone to 356mm at a later date or is everything different?

    Cheers, Sam

The brackets are different and the bells may also be different, I need to double check.

Well if people go for the 330mm kit for now can you tell us what the price will be to upgrade to the 356mm kit when it come's out??

The 330mm is probably going to be good enough but 356mm would be even better

Ill work out a price but its not going to be an economically viable route, the 356mm rotors are going to be a good £400+ a pair

    Bren,

I have A-Tech (also known as MB Motoring in the US) Weapons
17X9 +17 as my strret wheels. I would like to know if, when available
this kit will fit them. The rims are the exact same design as your
Ultralite 9x18 ET 38 A-Tech alloy wheel in bronze just in 17. I have these
brakes on now, 326mm rotors with brembo 4pots.

I wouldnt mind swaping them for this kit.
I can take inner rim measurments. Spoke clearence is not an issue as I can get
another caliper between the spokes and the caliper I have on

So with the price increase of the 330 kit its approx £200 difference or will these go up in price with the new pads?
