I didn't realise you coul fit S13 doors to a moggy??
just read this post start to finish, taken about 3 hours but what a read! incredible workmanship by all involved. il be keeping an eye on this post, and like they all say, WE LOVE PICS!!!!!!!!
skip.
Will a set of carbon bits be finding their way onto your car then? Good progress on that by the way
Sorry to say that whilst I'd love to post pics of all the new bits, I've managed to do almost nothing for ages. Various excuses, but basically its because I'm lazy and don't like being outside in the cold.
Progress will also now take an enforced break for a while whilst the garage is demolished and a house extension built, so car will have to go into storage. However, once thats done, I'll have a nice new, bigger and warmer garage to work in
I will post pics when there is an update, I promise.
Just read this post from start to finish (about 2 1/2 hrs!!) today.
Can't wait to see this car in action!
Mucho respect
Im planning on buying the full set of adjustable arms and getting them all powdercoated to match my nismo power brace, is there any tips you have for getting the bushes out, or is the same sort of proceedure as normal bushes?
Oh and i can totally relate to having no motivation with the dark winter nights! bring on the spring!!
Cliff, this is a link to my Minor project which I thought you might like to take a look at ?

D1HKS - If the rear arms are Apex ones same as mine, you need to press them out with a hydraulic press as they are located purely by the interference fit. The adjustable lower arms are located against a lip, and have a circlip. I still used a press to get them out, but they are a much lighter fit.
andyb64 - welcome! Looks like you chose your name the same way I chose mine eh
Car looks awesome. I did consider the spaceframe route, but thought this way would be easier - how wrong can you be!
Panelling looks very nice on that too. Should be very tidy when its done.
For all the wathers, i actually managed to get a few hours on the car last weekend, and hopefully will get a few more this weekend too. I'll post pics as soon as I can get the car out to get some decent ones
Yeah all the other arms are Apex, I thought you were on about the lower jobbies.
Update!
I've managed to get bits and pieces done over the last few weeks, and since it was nice today I was finally able to drag the car out onto the drive to put it on its wheels and get some pics. So here goes
Suspension at full extension:
And at full compression.
Can probably go lower
I love this project
that looks briliant! can't wait for more!!
